After 49 years of dedicated service as a mission of Fourth Presbyterian Church, the Replogle Center for Counseling and Well-Being will be closing on June 30, 2025. This difficult decision comes in response to ongoing financial challenges and changes in the landscape of mental health care, particularly in the wake of the pandemic. While this marks the end of an era started by John Boyle in 1976, it is also an opportunity to reflect on the incredible impact of the Center and to celebrate the community that made it such a vital place of healing and support.

Because you have been part of this journey—whether as a trainee, staff member, or supporter—we invite you to a Replogle Center Legacy Celebration on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church. This gathering will be a special time to reconnect, share memories, and honor the nearly five decades of compassionate care that have defined the Center.

If you know others who have been connected to the Center, please share this invitation with them. We hope to reach as many people as possible to celebrate this work’s lasting impact.

As part of this farewell, we are also compiling a collection of reflections and memories. We would love to hear from you whether you can attend or not. RSVP to Darlene Cunneen at dcunneen@fourthchurch.org by May 30, 2025.  Please consider sharing a meaningful story, a memorable experience, or how your time at the Replogle Center influenced you personally or your professional path—whether through the help you received, the people you helped, or the insights gained along the way. Reflections can be sent to dcunneen@fourthchurch.org by May 16, 2025.
